A distraught owner sent me this email
*I have an urgent question please which hope you might shed some light on. As you know Ive had a lagonda for nearly a year now nicely wrapped up in our garage together with the Rolls Royce and Lotus. I took her out today and to my horrow found holes in my leather seats, feet rug totally shredded, in the boot stuff shredded, obviously mice got in there somehow. We looked and could not find a visible slot/hole how those little bas'rds could be getting thur and why have they not got into the roller or lotus, perhaps they are more secure for mice. Pls let me know have you known for the lagonda to have access somewhere for them to get into, has anyopne else had that problem ? We don't know what to do excvept put poison granules on the floor which is a bit extreme cos we have dogs, but I just don't understand how they could be getting in, pls help.
*
Any sensible ideas/suggestions would be appreciated. |

Could the answer be as simple as thru the door?
maybe this rodent came in as a stowaway in a bag or package and stayed stuck in the car. Ergo all the holes in the leather. You will probably find a carcasse of the said vermin....

The only unsealed hole I can recall on 212 is where the vac lines enter the cabin from the engine compartment for the AC. The vac hose for the heat water valve leaves there as well. this is no more than 3/4 inch but it's possible for a small rodent squeeze through. It would need to be very persistent though.... |

You all know the story of how the Japaneze airtight tested there cars?
They stuffed in a cat and the next day it was dead.
As Britisch colleged did the same later ,they could not find the cat at all,
it just dissapeared?!
(OK is was about a Landy but still, just recently I saw a test on how waretight
a SD 1 is)
For now I'll continue to fill some floor holes of 057
