I like the Esprit S1 as well. And the original Lamborghini Countach - although I'd prefer a Ferrari 365 Berlinetta Boxer if offered a choice of the two.
Odd, isn't it, that the more a car design is updated, the podgier it seems to become? I suppose this is why I'm such an Aston aficionado - the updated Astons are very nearly always an improvement on perfection. The exception, in my eyes, is the update from the series 3 to series 4 Lagondas.
Of course, I wouldn't push one out of the garage if offered (and anyway, at 2.5 tonnes with automatic transmission, I'd have a job on attempting that), but for preference, I'd go for a series 3. Or 2... |
