It was indeed a memorable event.
Don't blame me, I just couldn't resist imagining a scene for the next Bond film for a brief moment : the meanest, most despicable person on earth would unshamefully crush all cars but save the Bulldog & the Lagonda for they are such a sacred, iconic pair of raw metal creatures !
Anyway, my tribute to the genius of Bill Towns.
Personally, I would save all but the Cygnet... Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil

Looks like you kept good company there.

Great pictures, especially the details of the Bulldog.

I am still trying to work out how Roger managed to get a parking spot right next to the beer tent.

I was there, in a Press capacity.

You know, even though I consider myself an Aston Martin bore, or more precisely others do, I can honestly say there are things I learnt on Sunday. In fact, I was shocked at my paucity of knowledge.

But it was a joy to see the Lagondas of Mr Ivett and Mr Dudding there - the last Lagonda I saw was a little the worse for wear...

Please don't knock it until you try it. My Siglet is a wonderful little car, every bit as head turning as my Lag.....similar colour too

I rather believe, sir, that you don't require extensive reworking following an MOT failure. Okay, so it's not exactly a head-on crash with a train, but it'd still make your eyes water, I would imagine.

And I doubt you would be able to dance the light fangio through the forum, were that the case, either...
