So it is time once again to go parts hunting Sad

I am looking for a replacement for the gas struts that hold up the bonnet.

I also need one of the locking mechanisms for the bonnet.

Someone had posted earlier about replacing their R-12 in the AC systems. I am using Freeze-12 for the past 3 seasons and it seems to be doing just fin. One can purchase it on eBay.

More information. The Gas Struts were made by Industrial Gas Springs. They are a custom made part for the Lagonda and the cost from the manufacturer is $237 each.

I found something close and made it fit Sad.

there WERE two on the crashed car but they might be a bit rusty now and a bit bent..
i'll look if you wish, when i go back to florida to collect then car..

which one and what part..

there were two on the crashed car and i removed them..
i THINK they are inside the car at this point..

still want one..?

Yes Bill, I'd appreciate whatever you've got. The locking mechanism is from the passenger side (LHD).
