The Pacer was voted the butt ugliest c ar ever built! The Pinto had the nasty habbit of exploding on rear end impacts!
Two of the automotive industry's worst cars!

The Bitter is nice and a rare car. What is the other one you got?

OK, so 'typical' to me means Ford or Vauxhall. But how typical? Sierra? Cosworth is not 'typical'.. |

Excel? 2.2L DOHC Slant four. Didn't realise there was a load of Toyota components underneath it. |

Not far from an Excel I thought to buy a year ago.
There are some cars I liked to own 'once in a lifetime' : the first one is the Lagonda, the second one is the Bitter ( or a Ferrari 400 but really too expensive in maintenance ), then a DeLorean but the PRV engine is really too 'fat' and the car is said to be a disaster...I like very much the Lotus Esprit but I cannot explain why I prefer the Elite 501...
The crown would be fully jewelled with a MONTEVERDI 375/4 ( Zoran, can you help me ? ) _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

It's an acquired taste I guess just like a Lagonda!
Monteverdi, the only Swiss car builder in the 70'. Very nice looking!

Monteverdi looks a very interesting car.
Two more cars I admire but I think I choose to never own are the Bristol 401 and the Facel Vega HK500.
I did buy one non-Lagonda this year though - 1990s UK made and one of less than 400 produced but really actually one of nine. Roger knows what it is, possibly Vincent. |

I thought about a ROVER 75 V8 but the car was launched in the 2000s...
A XJ220 ?
A DB7 ZAGATO ?
What is the engine ? _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

Ah yes - the engine is a good clue.
V8, 4 valves per cylinder.
Actually I do like the XJ220, but the only Rover I have ever owned was a 214 which Helen managed to snap a drive shaft when starting it in gear. I will never own another Rover.. |
