Hey Francis
Good eye - what a sad sight. For sure, this is a full-on restoration project. Just the interior alone, to my eye, doesn't leave much to salvage.
What's up with the gauges? It looks like someone went in there and replaced the original pictures tubes with VF or LEDs.
Looks to me like $25-30k in restoration, meaning it's probably $5-10k, as is.

Good find.
Looks like there was damage to the rear valance too - they appear to have trimmed it off just below the reflectors. Makes me wonder what damage there is to the underside. |

Some one got fed up of the CRT that never works... Maybe this set up is efficient and solves a bunch of recuring problems with those CRT cars.
Interior is not so bad, it just needs new wood from what I see. That's about $1500. If all else it needs is paint, that's another $8 000 and other issues, $10 000. So $20 000 plus price of the car gets you a nice roller.
I may bid on it.

More a car for spares than to refurbish ( front under valence; front bumper; wheels; ...) But the CRT solution would worth the pennies...Tempted to bid on it...I need a motor _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

It becomes not cheap for a donor car...On top of that, you're not sure if the engine is good...so...
At almost this price, you have the one in Paris for 15k€, the engine has 8000km, it is more simple to have a look at it and you can make an offer at 9k€ for example... |

In October 2009 I let a museum car go at the Houston auction... for $17 400.- Now you buy cars almost ready for dismantling for that money!
