AMOC Area 7 is arranging the Aston Martin Stand at the largest one day classic car show in the country, The Bromley Pageant (http://www.bromleypageant.co.uk/ )
Aston Martin Works Service have agreed to support this event, bringing The Prototype Vanquish and “The Aston Martin Time Line” (as displayed at Gaydon),charting the history of the marquee, forming the centre piece/back drop for an exhibition to promote Astons', The Club, The Heritage Trust and AM Racing, also with the assistance of Aston Martin themselves, The Heritage Trust and AMOC, we are producing a “goodie bag of information” to inspire future enthusiasts and owners.
Works Service are also providing a Leather Trimming exhibition and Memorabilia to raise money for charity
A competition for the publics’ favourite car, with a prize for the winner
The promotions team for the event are very interested in the company’s support and our approach to this year’s stand and wish to use us within their advertising strategy for the pageant.
“Now I know the date clashes with a number of other events and this is a late entry onto the forum, however the company and the club are going the extra mile to support this event, so the more Astons the Merrier!!”
Anyone wishing to join us on the stand and create a spectacular display then please contact me for further registration details on dawnscantlebury@hotmail.com

The weather will hopefully be set for fine and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at Bromley!!
Also I have a small Cars from Past to Present, which are to be made up of the following cars:
Mk II Long Chassis Tourer Andrew Randall
International Coupe Keith Piper
V8 Lagonda Roger Ivett

There will be a board providing information about these cars. I have added in the DB7, as this has just become a heritage car, and was the car which saved the company.

An excellent event with a brilliant Aston display organised by the local AMOC group with hundreds of cars of all types. Shame about the rain.
A few pictures to whet your appetite.
Zoom in on the front numberplate of FSK 279 just above the number. |
