Friends,
I have always been fascinated that such a rare, and then expensive car as the Lagonda appeared in the introduction to a few episodes of the 80's soap Dynasty. Which, I admit to having watched a few times.
I even found a clip, please fast forward to 04:35.

Now on to the very difficult question of which Lagonda it was?

A very difficult question indeed! Now can you find a clip of the one in
Miami Vice
The New Statesman
or indeed in any other TV show or film?

Some conclusions can be drawn on this pointless but interesting subject
Dynasty was shot in LA, and the car was most likely a loan from the local AML-dealership, or other exotic car dealership which means that we are looking for a black circa 1986-1987 Lagonda that was shipped new to California.
Was there one in Miami Vice? I must have missed! Any more info?
Are there other series/films where Lagondas appeared?
The otherwise useful http://www.imcdb.org/ has no info on any Lagondas.
