Trevor in California halfway between SanDiego & LA new owner of #13296 is experiencing some problems with his dash ie.
*
Volt meter reads high at 18 volts but will suddenly drop to 5-6 volts, usually on deceleration
Gauge brightness fluctuates
Oil temp gauge inoperative-flashes 1 over and over
Coolant temperature gauge works but flashes on and off at times
Cruise control inoperative
RH and LH touch pads are partially functional (no clock set)
*
Any comments? Anyone know of someone in California who can fix?

On 13295 ( I mean they took the same boat to US ), we took the dash off and checked all the connections ( rust, short circuits... ).
At this time only the clock and inside temperature doesn't work correctly.
Check also the alternator because of the erratic display of the battery charge.
The sensitive touchs are very...sensible. I have also some problems with the MPH/KM function; cruise control is not operating too, and we've put a ON/OFF knob for the headlamps. _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)
