My name is Alan Faulkner-Stevens and I was a Design Engineer for Aston Martin Lagonda from 1986 to 1990. I worked on the redesigned Series 4 Lagonda and I would be interested to talk to any owners about their experiences and living with their cars. I have always had a great soft spot for the car and felt it was much under appreciated. My wife and I covered many miles in the Aston Engineering departments Series 3 mule testing new components for the updated model. I loved the two door car our engineering lads built which was the test mule for the new Virage Aston prior to the first development cars being built.
best wishes Alan |

Hi Alan, I just love mine. I have to say that EVERYONE I know is confused as to why I would need one. They are so boring, the people that is. They just don't get it. I wanted something that was quality, timeless, luxurious and I am a little strange perhaps. As you will know the car seems to be remembered for it's electric faults. How sad when there is so much thats positive about it.
Mine blows warm air in slowly regardless of switching the fan off so I have installed a switch to kill the fan now. Apart from that she is perfect.
It really is a head turner especially as mine is in very subtle bright red!
The world and his dog seems to have mobile phone camera these days, I see lots of them hanging out of car windows to snap my car. Unless it's me they need a picture of perhaps.
I wonder how many S4's re still in the U.K |

Ollie
The 2 door Virage Mule DP 2034 is privately owned and in the Channel Islands.
Stuart
For an indication of S4s in the UK count them up on my Directory page under UK remembering of course that S4 started with number 13540. |

It is not really an S4...The nose is the same as an S4, but the side faces look like S2/S3 ones...I suppose this DP would never had been thought to be sold to a customer after using this car as mule _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

DP 2034 is featured in a magazine somewhere. Do you have a copy or shall I send you one? |
