Hello,

Something I have noticed in a few cases:

A factory mounted fire extinguisher in the Lagonda, eg:

- In this case the carpet covering the fire extinguisher is missing (notice the velcro).

Was that an optional extra ?

Maybe, like the boot lights, it was optionnal for some markets.

For example, US cars ( like my 13295 ) have no boot lights, no extinguisher, and no rear fog lamp. My RHD 13034 is fitted with boot lights, rear fog lamp, but no extinguisher...The parts catalogue mentions several differences from market to market...

13212 had one, middle east car.

13049 (1980) doesn't have one but then it only has one mirror!

007 has, 057 and 059 dont

007 no boot lights 057 059 do.

As mentionned in parts catalogue, page 9.1.1 in miscellaneous :
Fire extinguisher standard on Middle East Cars, optionnal for other countries.
Inside boot lights only fitted to certain cars ( I suppose European cars for law reasons ).- parts cat page 6.2.B.1.3

no tails in the back with sidelights front and rear
