| Message: got my fingers crossed. the d*** thing was leaking, and i tried about 12 shops in an attempt to get someone to work on it. everyone was afraid, worried about breaking it and not finding a replacement. oh they are available, new at 1,000 gbp and used about 600. finally a local glass shop recommended by an english car repair facility took a look yesterday. popped the trim off, cleaned out the crevace, beaded in some sort of rubber compound and put the trim back on. i'll admit it was yesterday and i haven't had her through any h20, but the fella at the shop was confident. so right now i am as well. | |
