Message: Can anyone suggest a definative history reference book for the Lagonda, and AML in general? I visited the factory on 2 occasions at the end of the 90s, but know very little of the fate of Newport-Pagnell, I understand the V8 now being out of production all together. I am also interested in talking to owners who have run Lagonda as a practical classic. Availability of spares/costs/workshop manuals etc? Is it a feasible home project to restore a scruffy Lagonda? Like a previous message, I too have played with Jags, which have proved very practical (if costly for parts): well built and easy enough to work on. Look forward to responses. I can be contacted directly on giles_brittain@yahoo.co.uk. Many thanks. Giles R Brittain. | |
